Do you see children?

How often should I be visiting the dentist?

Typically, our recommendation for patients of all ages is two checkups and cleanings each year, or one every six months on average. This allows our doctors and staff members to fully understand and identify any new developments in your oral health, as well as treat problems accordingly before they’re able to cause significant damage. If a patient is struggling with periodontal disease or is particularly oversensitive to tooth decay, we may recommend more frequent visits so that we can help them better maintain a strong, healthy smile over time.

Can you straighten my smile?

Definitely! Our in-house orthodontist Dr. Ranu Sinha offers both traditional and aesthetic-based braces for children and adults alike here in Roselle Park, NJ.

Not at all! Dr. Oshidar is considered a true expert in implant dentistry by his peers, and he has the specialized training and education to personally oversee your implant procedure (both surgical placement and custom-made restoration) from beginning to end in the same, convenient location.

How many teeth can you replace successfully with dental implants?

At Roselle Dental Park & Implants, we believe that there are no limits on the improvements dental implants can create for patients in need. Single tooth implants, multiple teeth implants, full mouth implants – all of these options are available to help you regain not only a wonderful smile, but a much better quality of life as well.

How painful is getting Dental Implants?

Most of our patients report that they feel very little, if any, pain during the procedure. In fact, many patients do not have to use any pain pills. Your decision to use implants will help you to avoid much pain and discomfort in the long term. During the treatment, you can watch TV on our overhead televisions, listen to music on your headphones, or even relax with soothing nitrous oxide.

What if I want to be sedated? How does that work?

If you're especially fearful, phobic, or pain-sensitive, you have the option of doing the procedures with sedation dentistry. Here’s how it works: you take a small pill before you come into the office and you rest peacefully as we do our work. With this option, you barely remember the procedure the next day, but we’re able to complete a ton of dental work done in just one visit.

Will I need to have one implant placed for each tooth that is missing? 

No. In fact, it is possible to replace all of the lower teeth with an overdenture that is supported by only 2-4 implants. On the other hand, sometimes it might work in your advantage to replace your back teeth with an implant for each tooth to provide additional strength.  

How do I know if I'm too old for implants?

Great question. Your overall health and your desire to improve your quality of life are much more important things to look at than your age. We currently provide implants to patients from 30 years old to 83+ years old. There have even been reports of people who are in their 90s and having this procedure done with no problems.

How long do implants last?

Most research has shown that implants can be successful for over 30 years. However, our goal is to make them so they last a lifetime. This approach is greatly improved when compared to traditional dentures, which typically last for five years, and/or bridges, where the expected time of use is between 7-10 years.

Do you offer any guarantee?

Yes. Even though dental implants have over a 95% success rate, there is still a very small chance that they won't completely bond. When this occurs, new implants are placed and the success rates for the replacement implants are even higher.  When we replace the implants, we keep working for FREE until we get it right. The only thing you need to do is make sure you come in for your regular scheduled visits so that we can keep your gums and teeth healthy, which will prevent most possible problems.

What is the cost of implant treatment?

Many people call and ask us, “How much is one implant going to cost?” While I wish it was that simple, the only way to determine actual cost is by coming in for a consultation and CT scan to find out if you have bone loss and if you'll need one, two, or more implants.

How long will it take to complete the treatment?

You will notice a difference almost immediately. However, the entire process can take anywhere between 3-9 months to complete. This depends on the type and quantity of implants you need, along with the quality of bone in which the implants are placed.
